The weather was appalling but the atmosphere was pretty good , I visited this cool little food gathering around 4pm and the weather was atrocious. The rain was torrential making shelter a priority.
It would stop then another downpour , each bout less dramatic than the last. When you weren’t seeking dry dpace the festival itself was pretty good. There were plenty of stalls , a heck of a lot of pork and lots of smokey containers making tender some meat.
The music was the real clincher , the bands were all actually rather good and the finishing act Alabama 3 were cool as sin itself.
My only regret is the festival landing on one of my 9 week non-drink binges as an ale with my lovingly grilled chicken would have been ace.
